Government cancelled the CBSE 12th Exam
The government has cancelled the CBSE 12th exam this year. Earlier the 10th exams were also cancelled. This decision was taken after an important meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Prime Minister said that right now the safety of the students is our priority. It is not right to give them exam stress in such an environment. We cannot put their lives in danger. He said that the 12th result will be prepared within the stipulated time and on a logical basis.
It has been told that keeping in mind the interest of the students, the decision has been taken on the 12th examination. The safety and health of the students is the topmost priority for the government. There can be no compromise on this. Students, parents and teachers were all upset about the exam. This concern had to be put to an end. It would not be right to force students to take exams in such a pressurized environment. All the aspects related to the examination need to show sensitivity towards the students at this time.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of CBSE, Secretary, Ministry of Education, besides Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Rajnath Singh and Prakash Javadekar. This meeting was done through video conferencing. According to the sources, all the options for conducting the examination were placed before the Prime Minister. These options were prepared after long discussions with the state governments and the CBSE board.
