Petrol in Mumbai Rs 101, diesel close to Rs 93

Petrol and diesel prices after two days of stagnation once again increased to a new record level. Petrol became costlier today by up to 27 paise and diesel by 30 paise in four major metros of the country. Due to this, petrol in Mumbai reached close to Rs 101 and diesel Rs 93 per liter. According to the website of leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, in Mumbai, petrol became costlier by 26 paise to Rs 100.98 and diesel by 30 paise to Rs 92.99 per liter.

In the national capital Delhi, the price of petrol increased by 27 paise and that of diesel by 28 paise. Here a liter of petrol became Rs 94.76 and a liter of diesel became Rs 85.66.
Petrol and diesel prices have been increased for 18 days from May 4 till now, while there has been no change in prices for the remaining 14 days. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 4.36 and diesel by Rs 4.93 in Delhi during this period.

In Kolkata, petrol became costlier by 26 paise to Rs 94.76 and diesel by 28 paise to Rs 88.51 per liter.
In Chennai, the price of petrol increased by 24 paise and that of diesel by 26 paise. There one liter of petrol was found for Rs 96.23 and one liter of diesel for Rs 90.38.
Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed daily and based on that new prices are implemented every day from 6 am.
