Scholarship Scam: Case will also be filed against the officials of UP, Himachal and Haryana

As the cases of corona will decrease, in the investigation of the scholarship scam of crores of rupees in Uttarakhand, the social welfare officers of other states will also be under the cloud of action. In this scam, now more than 40 officials of UP, Himachal and Haryana are seen getting trapped in it. These officers are accused that even after issuing the letter from the District Magistrate, crores of rupees were given to the colleges without doing physical verification. In which there has been a lot of corruption. SIT Haridwar is preparing to prosecute these officers.
In the investigation of the scholarship scam going on since the year 2018, along with the arrest of many college operators, Joint Director of Social Welfare Department Geetaram Nautia, former District Social Welfare Officer Anurag Shankhdhar, Assistant Social Welfare Officer Khanpur Som Prakash, Assistant Social Welfare Officer Bhagwanpur Vinod Naithani And against many other officers including Assistant Social Welfare Officer Laksar Munish Tyagi, the case is going on for corruption.

A charge sheet has also been filed against them in the police. Apart from Uttarakhand, social welfare officers of UP, Himachal and Haryana are also involved in the scholarship scam worth several hundred crores. Scholarships have been given to the colleges of these states only with the connivance of the officials there. Because a letter was written on behalf of Uttarakhand to the District Magistrates of the concerned district for verification. On which the District Magistrates had asked the officials of the Social Welfare Department to go to the colleges for physical verification. But without verification, officials of different states gave their report. On the basis of which crores of rupees were given from Uttarakhand to these colleges. In this entire episode, the names of the officials of UP, Himachal have come up in many cases. Permission is being taken from the government to prosecute these officers as well. After which the officers will be nominated in the cases of Haridwar. More than 50 officers are trapped in this whole episode.
SIT in-charge Manjunath TC, says that even after taking legal opinion, whose name is coming in the scam. Action will be taken against all. After getting permission against the officials, a separate case will be registered on corruption charges.
