Rhea Chakraborty to promote ‘Chehre’ with Amitabh and Emraan?

Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi are going to be seen in director Rumi Jaffrey’s next film ‘Chehre’. The film was scheduled to release on April 9 this year but had to be pushed ahead in view of the increasing cases of corona in the country. At the same time, the question is now being raised whether Riya Chakraborty along with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi will also be involved in the promotion of the film. Producer Anand Pandit has answered this question.

The film ‘Chehre’ came into the limelight last year due to Rhea Chakraborty. In fact, after the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput at this time last year, Riya Chakraborty was made an accused in the use of drugs in this case. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Rhea Chakraborty, ‘Chehre’ also stars Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Siddhant Kapoor, Raghuveer Yadav and Krystle D’Souza.

After Riya Chakraborty’s name surfaced in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, there were many such reports, in which it was said that she will no longer be a part of the film ‘Chehre’ or her part will be cut. She was also not on the poster of the film released in March and there were doubts that she would be a part of the trailer of the film but after the release of the trailer all those doubts were cleared as she was in the trailer. Producer Anand Pandit had said that he would stand by his actor and there was no such scenario where Rhea Chakraborty would not be a part of the film.
Anand Pandit had revealed that they are planning to release the film in theatres. The film is expected to release in the next two-three months.
When asked if Rhea Chakraborty will be a part of the film promotions. On this, Anand Pandit said, ‘As far as promotion is concerned, our team will decide who is needed for this. I don’t think we will need any more promotions with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi being present. Anand Pandit further adds, ‘I don’t want to use Rhea Chakraborty’s position for my business advantage at this point of time. If he is comfortable then we will give him some share in the promotion but if he is not comfortable then it doesn’t matter.
