Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Most of the crowd was seen in liquor shops only
The government has allowed shops to open three days a week, under which all markets have opened on the first day today, Wednesday, June 9. In such a situation, maximum crowd was seen in liquor shops only. The opening time of the shops was 8 o’clock in the morning, but people started queuing in the liquor shops only at 7.30 pm. At the same time, people are reaching other shops too, but there is a long line in liquor shops more than ration shops.
The Uttarakhand government is making frequent changes in the rules of Corona. The rules have been changed for the third time in this week’s curfew. The duration of Corona curfew is till 6 am on 15th June. In this, all shops have been allowed to open three days a week. Along with this, the timings of the shops were also extended from 8 am to 5 pm. In the discount being given earlier, the shop was being opened at one o’clock in the afternoon. At the same time, different days were fixed for different shops. Now by changing the rules, it has been decided to open all the shops together.
Due to the continuous market closure in Uttarakhand, there was anger among the traders. The process of demonstrations had also started from place to place. In view of this, now the mandate of the new rules has been issued by Chief Secretary Om Prakash. Under this, some relief has been given to the traders. Along with this, the opening hours of shops have also been increased. Now the markets will open simultaneously.
Relief if the speed of Corona decreases
The pace of corona has slowed down in Uttarakhand. On Tuesday, June 8, 546 new corona infections were found and 13 people died. A day earlier on Monday, June 7, 395 new corona infected were found and 21 people died of corona. Also, on Tuesday, June 8, 2717 people became healthy. At the same time, the attack of black fungus is also happening continuously. Till now 322 cases were registered in various hospitals. Of these, 50 people have died due to this disease so far. At the same time, 18 people have been discharged after recovering. Due to the decreasing number of cases, now some rules have been relaxed for business establishments. Earlier the opening hours of the shops were from 8 am to 1 pm. Now this has also been extended. Along with this, a new SOP has been issued canceling the order to open different shops on different days. Corona curfew continues till 6 am on 15th June.
