Gold rises on the first day of the week

On Monday, gold futures prices are seeing a rise. Delivery gold opened with a gain of Rs 172 in the morning. At 12 noon, it was trading at Rs 47,895 per 10 grams with a gain of Rs 167, or about 0.36 per cent. It touched a high of Rs 46,967 and a low of Rs 46,633 in the morning session. On the other hand, the price of silver is also seen increasing. Silver for July delivery was trading higher by Rs 162 at Rs 67,760 per kg at 12 o’clock. The price of gold fell sharply last week. On MCX, the price of gold fell by more than Rs 2,000 per 10 grams. In August last year, the price of gold had touched Rs 56,200 per 10 grams. On Friday, gold on MCX closed at Rs 46,800. In this way, gold has become cheaper by more than Rs 9,000 from its record price. In the Delhi bullion market too, it lost Rs 882 for the whole week.
