Euro 2020: Italy beat Wales 1-0

Italy have won their three Group A matches after beating Wales 1-0 in the Euro Cup 2020 football tournament.

Wales have managed to make it to the last-16 despite the loss to Italy. On the other hand, Italy has cemented its claim for the European Championship this year on the basis of its performance in the group stage.
Italy had already made it to the last-16 before this match and their coach Roberto Mancini made eight changes to the squad for the match.

Earlier, Italy played an aggressive game from the start and Matteo Pessina scored in the 39th minute to give the team an early lead.
Italy maintained this lead till the end of the first half. Wells suffered a major setback in the second half when Ethan Ampadu was shown a red card in the 55th minute for a late challenge.
With Ampadu getting a red card, Wales played the rest of the match with 10 players.

Wells could not take the lead or level by the stipulated time and had to face defeat.
