Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Officers should speed up the beautification work of Harshil area: DM

District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that Harshil holds an important place in the field of tourism. He directed the executing agencies to expedite the construction works. In order to promote tourism, the beautification works being done from the master plan in Harshil under construction were reviewed. While reviewing on Friday, the DM directed the RES department to install street lights and CCTV cameras in the market soon. Executive Engineer Electrical was apprised that open electric wires have been undergrounded in Harshil. At the same time, it was told by the Jal Sansthan that the process of making the drinking water lines underground in a systematic manner is in progress, the work will be completed soon. Harshil Public Works work is also in the final stage. On which the District Magistrate has instructed the executing agencies to expedite the work. Superintendent of Police Manikant Mishra, DFO Puneet Tomar, CDO Gaurav Kumar, Project Director Sanjay Singh, Executive Engineer Lonvi Rajendra Singh Khatri, District Tourism Development Officer Prakash Khatri and others were present in the meeting.
