Corona cases continue to decline

48,698 new cases in 24 hours, 1183 deaths

There is a steady decline in the daily cases of corona virus in the country. In the last 24 hours, 48,698 new cases of COVID-19 came in the country in a day and during this time 1183 patients died in front of this dangerous virus.

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, after 48698 new cases in the country, the total number of infection cases has increased to 3,01,83,143 and the weekly infection rate has come down to 2.97 percent. At the same time, the death toll increased to 3,94,493 due to the loss of 1,183 lives in 24 hours. The number of patients under treatment has come down to 5,95,565 which is 1.97 percent of the total cases of infection.

National recovery rate was 96.72 percent

Not only this, the number of people recovering is more than the number of patients coming daily for COVID-19 for the 44th consecutive day. The number of people who have recovered from this disease has increased to 2,91,93,085 and the death rate is 1.31 percent. Apart from this, the national rate of patients recovering from corona virus is 96.72 percent while the weekly infection rate has come down to 2.97 percent.

Vaccination of 61.19 lakh people in a day

At the same time, according to the data released by the ministry, the current daily infection rate is 2.79 percent. It is less than five per cent for the 19th day in a row. At the same time, 61.19 lakh people have been vaccinated against corona in the last 24 hours and 31.50 crore doses have been given to the states and union territories so far. Apart from this, a sample of 17,45,809 people was taken in the last 24 hours and so far 40,18,11,892 people have been tested.
