Krasikova will face Barty in the fourth round

French Open champion Barbora Krasikova of the Czech Republic has made it to the fourth round of Wimbledon, where she will face world number one Ashleigh Barty.

Krasikova defeated Anastasia Sevastova of Latvia 7-6(1), 3-6, 7-5 in the third round match.
Barty, on the other hand, defeated her doubles partner Katarina Siniakova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 7-5 in the third round.

Barbora was lucky that she managed to win despite 50 unforced hands. In the match that lasted two hours and 30 minutes, Barbora had to lose serve three times in the very first set.

“It was really tough today,” Barbora said after the match. I was really battling myself a lot, because I was not really feeling well. I was really glad it was over.
On her upcoming match against Ashleigh Barty, Barbora said, “You know, the way I fought today, it’s all a great achievement so far. I have known him (Barty) for a long time. I remember when she was 15, winning juniors here. I really like watching her play because she teaches me a lot. She inspires me and teaches me to work hard.
