karnataka : Will strengthen BJP for 10-15 years after leaving CM post: Yeddyurappa

Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said he would continue to tour the state and ensure that the BJP retains Karnataka in the 2023 assembly polls and also wins 25 seats in the 2024 general elections. He will work for the strength of the party for 10-15 years. Yediyurappa told reporters that there has been no communication from the party high command in this regard so far.

“I am still waiting for his instructions on July 25 (Sunday evening). Everything will become clear on that day (Sunday). He said that he would abide by the decision of the party high command.
He said that he was mentally prepared for both the scenarios (as well as resigning as chief minister) as everything depends on the party’s decision on July 25.

He said, what is the pressure, I had offered to resign from the post of CM only two months ago. So there is no pressure and neither am I under stress.
