The film was scheduled to release in theaters in April last year, but could not be made possible due to the lockdown. The film will be based on the historic 1983 World Cup victory of Indian cricket, with Kapil at the center. In this the real story will be shown on screen. In this, Ranveer’s wife and actress Deepika Padukone will be seen in the role of Kapil’s wife Roma Dev. The film is directed by Kabir Khan.
