Pranitha Subhash has been missing the big screen for a long time

Actress Pranitha Subhash, who was seen in the film Hungama 2, has been missing from the big screen for a long time. Sharing her experience of working in a Hindi film, Pranitha said, “I am both nervous and excited as everything from the genre to the audience is new to me.

When asked if she is missing the big screen, the actress replied, Absolutely, because as actors, especially in the south we are so used to the big screen, and the craziness. I am definitely missing all that.

With the film releasing digitally, it is not under pressure at the opening weekend box-office.

The actress suggested that yes actually, but then again, I think it would have been great if it was released in theatres.

A popular name in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, Pranitha is debuting in Bollywood, what is the difference she sees from down South?

Pranita said it was wonderful. In terms of work, it is almost identical, nothing seems different. Work culture, time I’ve always heard people say how different and similar it is, but I personally found everything the same. You can’t tell the difference between the working style of a South film and a Hindi film.

But yes, what is different is the language. I have spoken very bad Hindi all my life but now suddenly I am speaking very good Hindi.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Hungama 2 is streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Johnny Lever, Meezaan Jaffrey and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
