Madhya Pradesh / Bhind : 21 prisoners injured after jail wall collapses

Due to the collapse of the wall of the district jail complex located in Bhind district headquarters of Madhya Pradesh, 21 prisoners were injured this morning, out of which the condition of one is critical.
Jail sources said that at around 5.30 am, the wall of one of the barracks in the jail collapsed. Due to this, 21 prisoners present in the barracks were injured. All have been sent to the district hospital for treatment and one has been referred to Gwalior in case of seriousness.
It has been raining continuously for two to three days in the district. It is believed that due to the old building of the jail complex, its wall has collapsed.
The spot is located in the Kotwali police station area of the city and on getting the information, the officials of the jail and police department also reached the spot.
