Cyber cell has got a big success. Police on Tuesday arrested 6 cyber criminals who sought money from their friends by creating fake social media accounts of SSP, BJP MLA and advocate. Police have recovered dozens of mobile phones, SIM cards from them. According to the police, the fraudsters have cheated more than 80 lakh rupees from the district. Surprisingly, two of the arrested fraudsters are also child abusers. But all of them have expertise in cyber fraud. The police is now scrutinizing the transactions of all their bank accounts. The police registered a case against all the accused and presented them in the court. From where he was sent to jail.
Disclosing this gang, SSP Dinesh Kumar Prabhu said that these people used to create fake Facebook ID, WhatsApp account by stealing photos, names and Facebook friend list of people from social networking sites Facebook etc. After this, by asking for money in the name of help from Facebook friends, they used to deposit money in many wallets / bank accounts. In the past, this gang was demanding money from their well-wishers by creating fake accounts of dozens of big people like SSP Dinesh Kumar Prabhu, BJP MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh and Advocate Neeraj Shahi. After the matter came to the notice, the Cyber Crime Cell team was engaged to nab them. After this, on Tuesday, 6 members of this gang were arrested by a joint team of Cyber Crime Cell and Cantt Police.
The arrested fraudsters were identified as Ansar Khan son Waheed Khan, Sakir Khan son Sahaju, Waheed Khan son Jumrat, Qasim Khan son Chavsin. Apart from this, two other child abusers have also been caught in this gang. All these villages are residents of Madura police station Govardhan Japanad Mathura. Police have also recovered 5 mobile phones and 8 SIM cards from the fraudsters.
The SSP said that along with Ansar Khan, two other child abusers, who were arrested, told during interrogation that they enter the user ID and password by going to the login page of Facebook by holding the series of mobile numbers. The ID whose user ID and password are 6 digits of mobile number, name or mobile number, these people hack it by login to Facebook. After this, in the name of help from their Facebook friends with the same ID, they demand money in fake wallets / bank accounts through Google pay, Phonepe, Paytm etc. Not only this, these people are politicians, police, businessmen, eminent persons. By searching on Facebook profile, stealing their photo and name and friend list, making fake Facebook ID and first send friend request to those who know them. After this, in the name of help, they demand money in fake wallets / bank accounts. By searching on the Facebook profile of politicians, police, businessmen, eminent persons, their photos and names and the mobile numbers of their friends are known from the comment box, friend list etc. After this, stealing the photo and name in the profile and sending them on WhatsApp’s DP. By putting WhatsApp chatting with their friends, they demand money in the name of help. Not only this, these people also get their Aadhar card, PAN card, OTP from people in the name of getting jobs in various companies, lottery etc., by opening fake digital accounts and deposit money in it.
Whereas the arrested accused Sakir Khan told during interrogation that he used to hack Facebook ID and provide fake accounts to those seeking money with the help of Sanjay. After this, after withdrawing the money from the fake accounts, he used to keep 80% of the Facebook ID hacker (Ansar etc.) and 15% to Sanjay and 5% commission himself.
