Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Failed BJP government on every front decided farewell: Dhirendra Pratap

State Congress vice-president Dhirendra Pratap has said that the BJP, which has failed on every front in the 2022 assembly elections, is certain to depart from power. Talking to reporters at the Press Club, Dhirendra Pratap said that the pace of vaccination is very slow in the state despite experts anticipating the arrival of third wave of Kovid. The government is proving utterly unsuccessful in providing enough vaccines to vaccinate. The government has also proved to be a complete failure on the employment front. Under BJP rule, Uttarakhand ranks first in the country in terms of unemployment and second in terms of corruption. The state’s economic structure has completely collapsed and the government remains a spectator. The BJP changed three chief ministers in the last seven months. But no policy could be formulated to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the state. The government is trying to break the morale of the bureaucracy. He alleged that the transfer has been made an industry in the BJP government. The farmers of the state are also on the roads. The condition of workers and employees also remains deplorable. He said that the then Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari gave new dimensions to the state in the field of pilgrimage, industry and agriculture. Under the BJP government, the situation has become such that people from the major industrial centers of the state, Rudrapur, Haridwar and other places are leaving their industries and migrating from here. The dignity of women is in danger. The BJP MLAs are being accused of harassing women only. But instead of taking any action on the MLAs, the BJP government is protecting them. He said that the government is not ready to take care of the agitators due to which the state came into existence. The government is not ready to take any action on questions like 10 percent reservation to the agitators, identification of thousands of agitators, making Gairsain a permanent capital, pension to the agitating dependents, appointment of Lokayukta. Thousands of state agitators will demonstrate in Dehradun to wake up the government on the eve of August Kranti Diwas on August 8 for the demands of the agitators. Congress Outreach Committee member Sanjeev Chaudhary said that the situation in the state is deteriorating and the troubled people are waiting for the elections. He said that the double engine government of BJP, which came to power by making all the promises, could not fulfill even a single promise. Every section of the society is troubled due to the policies of the government. People will teach a lesson to the anti-people BJP government in elections. In the press conference, the Central Spokesperson of the State Agitator Joint Committee, Vijay Bhandari, City President Surendra Saini, Sarojini Joshi, Kamala Negi, Bina Kapoor etc. were present.
