Bihar / Munger : Amulet made of eye after killing 8-year-old girl in superstition, 4 arrested

Disclosing the case, police claimed that the girl was murdered in superstition and her eye was made into a talisman after the mutilated body of an eight-year-old girl was recovered from Safiabad police station area of Munger district of Bihar. The police have arrested four people in this case. Munger’s superintendent of police said that Dilip Kumar, a resident of Padam village in Ramnagar, wanted a fifth child. Dilip’s wife had miscarried. This time Dilip did not want the abortion of his wife under any circumstances. He narrated his pain to his friends Dasharatha and Tanveer.
Tanveer got Dilip in touch with Parvez Alam, a resident of Madhura village in Khagadia and an exorcist. Parvez advised the wife to make a talisman made of a girl’s eye to avoid miscarriage.
On Wednesday, when an eight-year-old girl was returning home from her father’s side from the banks of the Ganges, it is alleged that Dilip, Dashrath and Tanveer took the girl with them and brutally murdered her. He took out his eye and took him to Khagadia.
After burning the eye, a talisman was made from its ashes, which was worn by Dileep’s wife.
Reddy said that four accused, including Parvez, who worked as an exorcist, have been arrested in this case.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday morning, the mutilated body of a girl child was recovered from under a tree at a secluded place near a brick kiln near the village itself. The right eye was protruded and the left eye was damaged. The fingers of the hand were also badly injured. The family members were anticipating murder after rape, but the post-mortem report did not confirm rape.
