Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma arrived at the inter-state barrier at midnight before the start of Navratri fairs to take stock of the arrangements. The DC first saw the arrangement for checking documents with SDM Dr. Nidhi Patel in Mehatpur. After this, Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma reached Gagret at around 12 o’clock to see the arrangements at Ashapuri Barrier. Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that during the Shravan Ashtami Navratri fairs, conditional permission is being given to the devotees coming from outside the states to the temples and other religious places to enter the district limits. He said that the devotee should either have a certificate of having administered both the doses of the Kovid vaccine or should have a RTPCR negative report of at least 72 hours old, only then he will be allowed to enter Himachal Pradesh and he will go ahead to pay obeisance at the temple.
