Presiding over the camp, District Magistrate Andra Vamsi said that “Mega Credit Camp” is being organized to remember 75 years of independence. He wished all the beneficiaries and said that the loans received should be spent only under the scheme.

The District Magistrate told the various beneficiaries and bankers present in the “Mega Credit Camp” that the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in the district. All of you became partners in the program being organized under this. In “Mega Credit Camp” women of Self Help Groups who are given loan of Rs.06 lakh as working capital. Today, a loan of Rs 5 crore 40 lakh has been sanctioned to 84 beneficiaries under the scheme. In the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program Scheme, there is an ambitious scheme to provide loans to the unemployed to start their self-employment. Under this scheme, a maximum of Rs 25 lakh is provided in the industry sector and Rs 10 lakh maximum is provided for setting up a unit in the service sector. Today, under this scheme, about Rs 1.50 crore loan has been sanctioned to 30 beneficiaries in the district.

The Chief Development Officer said that under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, a maximum loan of Rs 25 lakh is provided to unemployed youth, girls by the Uttar Pradesh government, in which 25 percent grant is provided. In this scheme, about Rs.96 lakh loan was sanctioned to 18 beneficiaries in “Mega Credit Camp” today. In one district one product financing scheme, the selected soft toys units are provided loans for running their enterprise. Today in Mega Credit Camp, about Rs 40 lakh loans were sanctioned to 14 beneficiaries. The Chief Development Officer informed that under the Kisan Credit Card scheme in “Mega Credit Camp”, a loan of Rs 46 crore 55 lakh was sanctioned to 1752 farmers. In the camp, loans are provided by banks to encourage new entrepreneurs under micro, small and medium enterprises. Under this, a loan of about Rs 52 crore was sanctioned. Similarly, under PM Svanidhi, street vendors are given a loan of Rs 10,000 for a year. Under this scheme, loans were sanctioned to 2527 street vendors in the district. He said that the target was to disburse 100 crore loans, but under various beneficial schemes in the district, Rs 106 crore loan was disbursed. In the “Mega Credit Camp”, Circle Head of PNB Shri Prabhat Shukla also while giving information about the loan disbursement by various banks under various schemes said that the role of banks is important in the development of the area.
