Uttarakhand / Dehradun : After a year and a half, when the bell rang in the primary schools, the faces of the students blossomed

In Uttarakhand on Tuesday, after one and a half years, the students were excited when the bell rang in the primary schools. Offline studies have started from today in 14007 government and private schools of classes I to V, which have been closed for a long time due to Corona. When the school opened, teachers welcomed the children at the gate at many places. Classes in most government schools will run for three hours.
In view of the increasing cases of Kovid infection in the state, primary schools were closed in March 2020. Now after the situation becomes somewhat normal, an order was issued by the government to open the schools from Tuesday. According to the Director of Education, due to the closure of the school, it has affected the education of the children.
In order to reduce the loss of education, a bridge course will be run for children in collaboration with DIET and SCERT. The Director of Education said that education will continue in schools through both online and offline means. There will be no pressure on parents to send their children to school.
After the order of the government, all the preparations were completed by the department for the opening of the schools. According to the instructions of the Director of Education, Ramakrishna Uniyal, the children were given admission in all the schools following the SOP completely. In most schools, children got entry only after thermal screening and sanitization.
SOP was not followed on the very first day in government and private schools of Kashipur. Due to less seating space in some schools, children were made to sit around. At the same time, sanitization was also not done. The same situation was seen in many schools of Garhwal as well.
Parents were already informed by the school management that students should bring their water bottles along with masks and sanitizers before coming to school.
In Dehradun-KV, arrangements were made that under the alternative arrangement for the students, ie, studies would be conducted except one day. Online classes will be conducted for the students who will not be able to come to school. At the same time, students coming to school will have to bring consent letter from the parents. When schools opened in Uttarkashi, children showed enthusiasm about playing along with studies. After studies, the students were seen playing badminton in the open field.
