Madhavan has shared a poster of the film on Instagram. Expressing his happiness about this, he wrote, We are very happy to inform that the film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will be released in theaters on 1st April next year. He further wrote, We have made this film with a lot of love and dedication and I am grateful to all of you for the love you have given us so far.
Madhavan is not only acting in this film, but he has also written the story of this film and its producer-director is also Madhavan. The trailer of the film was released on April 1, 2021, which was very much liked by the audience. A different style of R Madhavan was shown in this action-packed trailer. His dialogues in the trailer were also superb. The film has been shot in countries like India, Georgia, Russia and France.
The film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will be released simultaneously in six languages Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Madhavan plays the role of Nambi Narayanan in the film. Apart from them, actors like Simran Bagga, Rajit Kapoor, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, Kartik Kumar and Dinesh Prabhakar are also playing important roles in it. Shahrukh Khan is also going to appear in a guest role in the film.
Nambi Narayanan was a scientist of the Indian Space Research Organization who was implicated on false charges of betraying the country. After 26 years of long battle and fighting with the police-administration, in the year 1998, the Supreme Court declared him innocent. If rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan had not been implicated in a false case and sent to jail, then today the story of Indian space mission would have been different. The film revolves around his entire journey.
