Committee member Geeta Thakur visited Yognagri railway station on Haridwar bypass road and saw the arrangements. He inspected air-conditioned passenger waiting room, goods godown, platform and ladies toilet. Expressed displeasure over the non-availability of water from the two taps on the platform to moisten the passengers. He instructed the Chief Health Inspector, Railway Rajveer Sharma, who was present on the spot, to fix the drinking water system, make arrangements for sanitary pad machines and soap etc. in the women’s toilets. The committee member inquired about the trains operated from Yognagri railway station. Assured that to increase passenger convenience, he will talk to the Chairman of the Railway Board. Chief Commercial Supervisor HS Meena, TT GR Prasad etc. were present on the occasion.
