Uttarakhand / Rishikesh :Farmers burnt effigies by protesting against BJP government
In protest against the Lakhimpur incident, farmers demonstrated against the BJP government by burning effigies in Doiwala. Later, the farmers sat on a dharna in the Tehsil premises. After this a memorandum was sent through SDM. Among the farmers, Congress District President Gaurav Singh, Sagar Manwal, Ranjit Singh, Jaswant Singh, Zahid Anjum, Surendra Singh Khalsa, Inderjit Singh, Umaid Bora, Surendra Singh Rana etc. were present.
