Nevada Attorney General’s Office declined to comment on Pandora Papers leak

The Nevada Attorney General’s Office declined to comment on the Pandora Papers leak. The Pandora Papers, compiled by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and released by several publications, revealed that other US provinces, including Nevada, have passed laws that keep customer information confidential in the US and other countries.

As a matter of policy, we do not comment on the appropriateness of the potential investigation, said a spokesperson for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office. Notably, the Pandora Papers leak exposed a vast network of banking among the world’s elite. It provides information to more than 330 officials around the world, including more than 35 current and former global leaders, on concealment and tax evasion of enormous wealth and assets. The investigation is based on information from over 1.19 crore leaked financial documents.
