Uttrakhand reached the semi-finals thanks to Neelam’s brilliant 79 runs
In the quarter-final match of Under 19 Women’s Cricket One Day competition, Uttarakhand defeated Punjab team by five wickets to enter the semi-finals. In Uttarakhand’s victory, Neelam Bhardwaj, playing the role of a finisher, won the match single-handedly by scoring an unbeaten 79 in a brilliant manner.
In the match held at RCA Academy in Jaipur, Punjab made a weak start playing first. The wickets of Punjab kept falling one after the other. None of the batsmen could impress. Khushnawal Chahal contributed 20, Pragati Singh 23 runs for Punjab. The entire team could score only 127 runs for the loss of nine wickets in fifty overs. 21 runs extra. For Uttarakhand, Sakshi Joshi took three wickets, Meenakshi and Pooja took two wickets each. In reply, the start of Uttarakhand was also not good.
