Home Minister Shah gave government job letter to martyr’s wife, attended review meeting on security situation

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Srinagar for a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370.  Amit Shah first met the relatives of CID Inspector Parvez Ahmed, who was killed in the terrorist attack.  After this Amit Shah reached the Raj Bhavan and started a meeting with the officials.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.  Today he held a meeting with higher officials regarding the security review.  Discussing the recently increased Terror Killing case.

After reaching the valley, Union Minister Amit Shah reached the residence of CID Inspector Parvez Ahmed, who was killed in Nowgam, Srinagar, to meet his family. Parvez was killed by terrorists on June 2021. During this, along with Amit Shah, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh and DGP Dilbag Singh were also present. During this, the Union Home Minister met Ahmed’s wife Fatima Akhtar and also gave her official documents for a government job. On the evening of 22 June, Inspector Parvez Ahmed was ambushed by terrorists. In which he was martyred.

During the three-day visit, he will review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir as well as review the progress of various development works. Special emphasis will be on preventing the incidents of recent target killings in future and crushing terrorism from the root. In Srinagar, the Home Minister will launch a direct flight to Sharjah. Heavy security arrangements have been made in Jammu and Srinagar in view of the visit. Drones are also being monitored at both the places. Along with the Home Ministry, senior officers of various security agencies NIA, IB, CRPF, BSF have also reached Srinagar in security related meetings.

Meanwhile, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh held meetings and finalized the programs in Jammu and Srinagar. The Home Minister will be in Jammu on October 24. Here he will address the gathering at Bhagwati Nagar. In the beneficiary conference, 80 beneficiaries of various schemes of the central government will be handed over certificates and documents related to the scheme. Along with inaugurating the new block of IIT Jammu, a program to meet various delegations is also proposed.

On Friday, the officials took stock of the rally

On Friday, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh took stock of the preparations along with the officials at the rally venue. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Dr. Jitendra Singh finalized the programs after meeting with security agencies and administrative officials at Srinagar Secretariat. Security meetings as well as beneficiary conference will be held at SKICC, Srinagar.

A schedule of meetings with various delegations is also proposed. Meanwhile, BSF DG Pankaj Kumar Singh has also reached Srinagar on Friday. Tight security arrangements have been made in the areas around Dal Lake. The entire Dal area has been converted into a security camp. The patrolling of security forces has been increased.

Rally is also official, BJP flags will not be held

The rally organized in Jammu has been given an official form. There will be no party program of any kind due to the beneficiary convention at the rally site. Neither flags nor any other kind of event will be held. Screen TVs have been installed at the rally site so that the people who reached the rally do not face any kind of trouble.

Amit Shah arrives at the residence of slain CID Inspector Parvez Ahmed in Nowgam, Srinagar along with his family to offer condolences. Parvez was killed by suspected terrorists in June 2021.
