Congress told the Center – If you want to reduce the price, then reduce it completely, congratulated the countrymen for teaching a lesson

Taking a jibe at the central government’s reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel, the Congress has linked it to the electoral defeat.  The party has to say that congratulations to the countrymen for teaching a lesson to the Taxjeev Modi government.  General Secretary Randeep Surjewala said that understand the rhetoric of Modinomics.  This year in 2021, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 28 and the price of diesel by Rs 26.  After losing the by-elections in 14 seats in the country, the reduction of the rate of petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and 10 respectively is also being told as the gift of the Prime Minister for Diwali.

He said that in the Congress government, the excise duty on petrol was Rs 9.48 per liter and the excise duty on diesel was Rs 3.56 per liter.  Whereas the excise duty on petrol under the Modi government is Rs 32.90, out of which it becomes Rs 27.90 a liter by reducing it by five rupees.  At the same time, the excise duty on diesel is currently Rs 31.80, in which reducing such Rs 10 will increase it to Rs 21.80 per liter.  Surjewala said that Modi ji will not play the rhetoric, what you have increased, you should decrease it all.  Surjewala further said that the people showed the mirror of truth to the BJP due to the ‘hurt of vote’ in democracy.
