In Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, an elderly man selling cylinders on the footpath died. The family of the elderly was struggling with poverty. Because of this, even at the age of 80, the elderly had to sell cylinders on the pavement in the market.
According to the information received, the name of the deceased is 80-year-old Chandanlal Rai. He lives in Tulsinagar near Kirti Stambh. The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday. As usual, the old man had gone out to sell the rolling pin. Wearing a shirt even in the cold, Chandanlal’s health suddenly deteriorated. Then he sat down on the sidewalk with the help of a motorcycle parked behind. During this time he died. Shortly before his death, the elderly man was seen selling goods. It is being told that the death was due to cold.
It is said that Chandanlal has four sons and one daughter. One son is mentally ill. Three sons work. The daughter is married, while the four sons are unmarried. 70-year-old wife Siyarani also remains ill.
Congress raised questions on the plans of the government
After the video of the death of the elderly went viral on social media, the Congress has raised questions on the government schemes. Congress MLA and former minister PC Sharma said that this news exposes the Hawa-Hawai street vendor scheme of the Madhya Pradesh government. For several months, the government has been giving loans to shopkeepers on footpaths, roads so that they can do business. The reality is the opposite. Every scheme of Shivraj government is proving to be a hoax.
