Uttar Pradesh will become the first state to have five international airports, know from where you will get flights to go abroad

The state government has said that soon UP will have more international airports than any other state in the country. At present, eight airports are operational in the state, while 13 airports and seven airstrips are being developed. The state is now on the way to build five international airports, the statement said. After their formation, people will be able to get flights to go abroad directly from this. On November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of Noida International Airport in Jewar.

Till 2012, Uttar Pradesh had only two international airports at Lucknow and Varanasi. The third international airport at Kushinagar became operational after the inauguration by PM Modi on October 20, while the work on the airport in Ayodhya is in full swing. It is expected to launch early next year. The fifth international airport is to be built at Jewar near Noida in the National Capital Region (NCR). From here people will be able to get a flight to go abroad.

Noida International Airport is being constructed near Jewar in Gautam Budh Nagar in the NCR region of Uttar Pradesh. For its construction, multi-modal connectivity has been taken care of. Because it is close to the existing Yamuna Expressway (Greater Noida to Agra) and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Its Ballabhgarh, Khurja-Jewar NH 91 will have a link with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The first phase of this airport will have a capacity to serve 12 million passengers annually and is to be completed in 36 months
