Kapil Dev’s big question If he does not bowl, how will Hardik Pandya be called an all-rounder?
Along with making his debut for the Indian team, Hardik Pandya has been constantly compared to former veteran all-rounder Kapil Dev. But the 1983 World Cup winning team questioned Hardik’s bowling ability and said that if he does not bowl then how will we call him an all-rounder?
When asked about Hardik as an all-rounder, Kapil replied, “He has to do both to be considered an all-rounder. He is not bowling so can we call him an all-rounder? He has recovered from the injury, now he will bowl.
Kapil named Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja as his favorite all-rounders.
“I would say that both Ashwin and Jadeja are doing a great job. I just enjoy watching cricket these days. I don’t see from your point of view. My job is to enjoy the game.”
Kapil said that being the coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid will get more success in coaching than the success he has got as a player.
