Huge jump in Corona death figures, Bihar and Kerala added old figures
COVID Death Case in India: Today, 2,796 deaths related to COVID have been reported in the country. This is the highest in a day since July 2020. According to the Health Ministry, Bihar has undertaken an exercise to reconcile its COVID data. The total number of deaths in India has increased to 4,73,326 with 2,796 deaths. On Saturday, 391 deaths were recorded in India. On July 21, 3,998 people died in a single day in India. At that time Maharashtra had improved its COVID data for the 14th time.
The Union Health Ministry said that out of 2,796 deaths due to corona, 2,426 deaths in Bihar in the past have been included in the national COVID database. Kerala has also included a backlog of 263 deaths.
On Saturday, 8,895 new corona cases were registered in India, after which the total cases of corona infection in the country increased to 3,46,33,255. For the last 161 consecutive days in the country, the daily cases of corona are less than 50 thousand.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 99,155 active cases left in the country. This is 0.29 percent of the total cases of infection. This is the lowest since March 2020. The national COVID-19 recovery rate has reached 98.35 percent.
