‘I don’t take him seriously…’: AAP leader Raghav Chadha on Navjot Sidhu’s dharna
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and spokesperson Raghav Chadha on Sunday hit out at Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu for participating in a sit-in by guest teachers outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence and said that he is a Congress leader. Don’t take the leader seriously. News agency ANI quoted him as saying, ‘Earlier also, I had said that Sidhu is the Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics. He knows how to play. There is no need for serious discussion on them. It is also useless to comment on them and I do not take them seriously.
The Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson’s remarks came after Sidhu attended a sit-in by guest teachers outside Kejriwal’s residence on Sunday. Guest teachers of Delhi government were protesting demanding regularization of their jobs.
Addressing the media, Sidhu had said, “There are 22,000 guest teachers working as bonded labourers.”
Further, Chadha said that Punjab’s education minister ran away when Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia invited him for a debate on the state of education system in Punjab and Delhi.
Hitting out at the Punjab Congress over its internal issues, Chadha said, “We have nothing to do with the internal problems of Punjab Congress. The party is becoming an irrelevant in Punjab today. There is no political dominance left. They are fighting among themselves. Congress itself is the opposition of its own party.
