On Sunday, Kotdwar Municipal Corporation was successful in getting acquainted with the history of women power of Garhwal. This opportunity got recognition of the women power of Garhwal in memory of the historical sacrifice of Teelu Souteli. When Mayor Hemlata Negi, the first citizen of Kotdwar, in a public program to name the busy intersection of Kotdwar after Veerbala Teelu Rauteli. Dignitaries of Kotdwar participated in the program under the banner of Veerbala Teelu Rauteli Vichar Manch.
