Uttarakhand : Four new cases of Omicron in the last 24 hours

Four new cases of Omicron, a new form of corona virus, were reported in Uttarakhand in the last 24 hours, due to which the number of infected people in the state increased to eight. This information was given by the officials here on Saturday. Four people infected with Omicron in the past have been cured. One case of Omicron was reported in the state on December 11, while three more cases were reported on December 27.

Out of these four new cases, three cases are from Dehradun and one case is from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. He said that three of the infected persons are between 23 and 28 years of age, while this includes a 15-year-old teenager.

The infected persons include a 28-year-old man from Dehradun, who had returned from abroad via Gurugram, a 23-year-old man who had recently returned from Gurugram, a 15-year-old teenager who had come in contact with him. Also included is a 27-year-old man from Ahmedabad, who came to Rishikesh on December 21. Since the person from Ahmedabad has already returned, the Gujarat government has been informed about this.
