Total 2364 new corona cases in India in last 24 hours, 10 people died

The speed of new cases of corona virus in India has increased once again. A total of 2364 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time 10 patients have died of corona. After which the total number of active cases of corona has reached 15419. On May 19, more cases of corona have been registered than in the last few days.

Relief in new cases of corona
Earlier on May 18, a total of 1829 new corona cases were reported in the country and 33 people died due to this. Let us tell you that for the last few days, relief is being seen in the country regarding the cases of corona. Whereas a few weeks ago the cases had started increasing rapidly. Which was being seen as the next wave of Corona. However, this trend of increasing cases did not last long and now there is a continuous decrease in new cases. However, compared to yesterday, there has been an increase in corona cases today. While the death toll has come down. Now the total number of corona cases in India has reached 4,31,29,563, while the death toll has gone up to 5,24,303.

Focus on Booster Dose
Rapid vaccination is also going on to reduce corona infection. Now the focus is on giving booster doses to the people. People above 18 years of age can get a booster dose. Guidelines have also been issued by the government regarding this. In which it has been told that you can take your third ie booster dose after 9 months of taking the second dose. However, it is being said that the government may soon reduce the gap between the second and third doses.

Significantly, on 7 August 2020, the number of corona virus infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November 2020.

On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. On 26 January this year, the cases had crossed four crores.
