Now claims of being a temple regarding Ajmer Sharif Dargah, demand for survey of “swastika symbol on walls and windows”

Hinduist organization Maharana Pratap Sena has demanded a survey from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) claiming the shrine of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, formerly a temple. Rajvardhan Singh Parmar of Maharana Pratap Sena claimed that the walls and windows of the dargah have symbols related to Hindu religion. Parmar said that his demand is that the survey of the dargah should be conducted by the ASI. At the same time, the Khadimen’s committee of the dargah rejected the claim and said that there is no such sign there.

Talking to reporters, Parmar said that “Khwaja Garib Nawaz’s dargah was an ancient temple in the past. There are swastika symbols on its walls and windows. Our demand is that the survey of the dargah should be done by the ASI.

Moin Chishti, chairman of Khadim Committee Anjuman Syed Jadgan, said the claim was baseless as there were no such symbols in the dargah. He said that crores of people from both the communities Hindu and Muslim come to the dargah.

He said that “I am saying with full responsibility that there is no swastika symbol anywhere in the dargah. The dargah is there for 850 years. No such question has arisen till date. Today there is a special kind of atmosphere in the country which was never there before.

He said that questioning the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti means hurting the sentiments of crores of people who follow their respective religions and come here. Chishti said that it is the job of the government to answer all such elements. Committee secretary Wahid Hussain Chishti said that this is an attempt to disturb the communal harmony.
