Uttarakhand / Almora : Accused’s bail plea rejected in fraud and embezzlement case
In a case of cheating and embezzlement, the court of District Sessions Judge Malik Mazhar Sultan has rejected the bail plea of accused Navin Chandra son Mohan Ram, resident of Bhatauda Bhatauda tehsil and district Bageshwar.
On behalf of the prosecution, District Government Advocate Puran Singh Kaida told that the plaintiff Vijay Singh filed a report on 13 October 2021 in a case of fraud and embezzlement at Almora Kotwali. In which lakhs of rupees were embezzled during the loading of cash in different ATMs. In this regard, the police registered a case and started investigation. In the case, the police arrested Naveen Chandra and sent him to jail. The accused through his advocate filed a bail application in the court. After perusing the evidence present in the letter, the court rejected the bail application of the accused.
