Nupur Sharma’s statement reached the Parliament of Maldives, Jordan, Indonesia issued a statement

There is a ruckus in the whole world over the statement of expelled BJP leader Nupur Sharma. Islamic countries have erupted with anger and are opposing it after the statement made about Prophet Mohammad during a TV debate. Earlier it was condemned by Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iran. Now the matter even reached the Parliament of Maldives. An emergency resolution was introduced in the Parliament of Maldives. It was presented against Nupur Sharma’s statement which could not be passed.

The President of Maldives did not comment on this matter, while the opposition openly opened a front against Nupur Sharma. Only 10 MPs voted in favor of the motion in the House and 33 MPs voted against. As a result, this motion could not be passed. Leader of the Opposition Sharif Omar said the government was not reacting to the statement, which was worrying.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry has also issued a statement condemning the controversial statement on Prophet Mohammed. Indonesia has said that such statements against Prophet Mohammed can never be accepted. Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry also raised objection by calling the Indian Ambassador.

Information was given from Pakistan that it had summoned the in-charge of the Indian High Commission. He says that this was done to protest the controversial statement on Prophet Mohammad. The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said that the sentiments of Muslims around the world have been hurt due to these statements.

At the same time, after the statement of OIC and Pakistan, India has shown them the mirror. The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the government of Pakistan should focus on its system and atrocities. At the same time, attention should be paid to what is happening against Hindus, Christians and Sikhs.
