Uttarakhand : Truck full of bricks fell into the mud, driver dies

On the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway, a truck full of bricks went uncontrollably near Shivmurti and fell into the gorge about 10 meters below. In the accident, the truck driver died on the spot, while the other two occupants of the truck were seriously injured. Those who have been admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Devprayag. The accident is suspected to have been caused by brake failure of the truck.

On Monday, the truck driver Hasan Abbas (27) son of Jiyahul Hasan, resident of Sharki Sirsi countryside, district Sambhal (UP) had left for Srinagar with a brick truck from Roorkee. At night, he stopped at Teendhara located on Badrinath Highway. He left for Srinagar from Teendhara at around 4 am on Tuesday, but after walking for a few minutes, the truck rammed into the gorge near Shivmurthy, two kilometers ahead of Teen Dhara.

Inspector Devraj Sharma, who reached the information, told that the driver Abbas had died on the spot, while both the truck assistant Naushad and Naeem Hasan, residents of Jainpur Jhajhedi police station Mangalore (Haridwar) were seriously injured.
