Akshay Kumar’s film Samrat Prithviraj has been battered at the box office within eight days of its release. Made in a big budget of Rs 300 crores (Samrat Prithviraj Bugdet), the film has so far collected Rs 55 crores at the box office (Samrat Prithviraj Box Office Collection). Its eighth day earnings have also been revealed. It has been that Samrat Prithviraj saw a huge drop at the box office on his second Friday.

The earnings of ‘Samrat’ have fallen

Emperor Prithviraj has already been declared a disaster. The film, which released on June 3, saw a drop of about 81 percent in terms of earnings on its second Friday i.e. June 10. According to Bollywood Hungama, Emperor Prithviraj has earned from 1.85 to 2 crores on his eighth day. With this, the collection of the film has been able to be only Rs 57 crores. The Hindi public occupancy of the film in theaters (Samrat Prithviraj Hindi Audience Occupancy) stood at 11.72 percent on Friday.

Samrat Prithviraj, based on the life story of India’s heroic warrior Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, has been earning loose since the beginning. The film had earned Rs 10.70 crore on its first day. Along with this, the first weekend collection of the film was also not good. In eight days, only Sunday, June 5 saw a jump in the film’s earnings. On this day, the collection of 16 crores was done by Emperor Prithviraj. Since then, earning money for the film has become a big challenge.

Major-Vikram did wonders

At the same time, the film Major and Vikram, which were released with Emperor Prithviraj, are earning well. Major The Film had collected Rs 50 crore at the box office within its first week. At the same time, Vikram is also getting good earnings in South. Adivi Shesh, the hero of the film Major, is also dominated everywhere. In one of his interviews, Shesh said about the film’s emperor Prithviraj and Vikram’s clash that Major is like a gold fish in the ocean of films.

Samrat Prithviraj has been made by director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Aditya Chopra has produced the film under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Made in a budget of 300 crores, this film has been called a disaster. Akshay Kumar played the lead role in the film. Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar have worked with him in this. This is Akshay Kumar’s second consecutive flop film.
