Villagers caught 2 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, One of them was BJP’s IT cell chief, AK-47 and grenade recovered
On Sunday, villagers caught two terrorists and handed them over to the police in Tuksan village of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. A huge cache of weapons have also been recovered from them. The terrorists have been identified as Talib Hussain Shah and Faizal Ahmad Dar, both of whom are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. NDTV quoted the Jammu and Kashmir Police as saying that Talib Hussain Shah, a resident of Rajouri district, has been the social media in-charge of BJP’s Minority Morcha in Jammu.
At the same time, Faizal Ahmed Dar is a resident of Pulwama district. Faisal was the mastermind of the recent IED blasts.
Ammunition also recovered, villagers will get reward
Officials said that two AK 47 rifles, seven grenades and one pistol were recovered from them. Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh to the villagers for their bravery. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for the brave villagers.
Villagers tied the terrorists with a rope
Both these terrorists were roaming in the village, after seeing the suspect, the villagers caught both of them and tied them with ropes. After this informed the local police. Two terrorists were arrested by the police on June 28 after investigation into the blasts at Shahpur village of Budhal on March 26, April 19 and April 24 at Kotranka in Rajouri district.
Two new modules were detected 10 days ago
Jammu Zone ADGP Mukesh Singh said that in recent days Lashkar is trying to promote terrorist activities in Chenab Valley and Rajouri-Poonch. He has been successful in reactivating some terrorists. Two modules were made of these. The first was responsible for the Udhampur blast a month ago and the second for the blasts in Rajouri district, which was busted around 10 days ago, but the main terrorist Talib Hussain was absconding. Encounter took place near Amarnath Yatra route
Earlier on June 30, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army eliminated two terrorists during Operation ‘Katran’ in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter in Kulgam on Wednesday was very close to the Amarnath Yatra route. Police said a joint operation was launched on Wednesday and the area was cordoned off. One AK 47 rifle, one pistol were recovered.
