Uttarakhand : CM Dhami said in Haldwani, “Now talk less work more”

Presently the timing of monsoon is extremely challenging regarding disaster. There is a lot of damage due to landslides, breaking of roads etc. In this calamity, timely delivery of medicines, ration and restoration of electricity-road connectivity in the hilly areas is of paramount importance. Now the state government is focusing on making things less workable. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said this to the media in Haldwani on Thursday.

CM Dhami held a review meeting regarding disaster management, law and order and development works at the Circuit House in Gaulapar. After which, while talking to the media, he said that all the officials have been asked to keep the arrangements neat and clean. Whatever is lacking, instructions have been given to rectify it till the next meeting. Said that he had also taken a meeting in June last month regarding disaster management. This review meeting was called for the review of the same. Efforts are being made to ensure that the development works should be done on time and the state and its people have to bear the least damage during the calamity.

The CM said that the BJP government has had a unique work culture from the center to the state. By adopting this work culture, he has instructed the officers in the review meeting to implement the schemes. On the question of lagging behind in GST collection, he said that work is also being done on how the state’s GST collection can be improved. During this, MLA Kaladhungi Banshidhar Bhagat, MLA Bhimtal Ram Singh Kaida, MLA Nainital Sarita Arya, Mayor Haldwani Dr. Jogendra Singh Rautela, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, DIG Nilesh Anand Bharne, District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Gabrial, SSP Pankaj Bhatt etc. were present.
