India-Pakistan relations deteriorated under Modi government, says Shahid Afridi
Shahid Afridi, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has once again seen a big deal against India. This time he made rhetoric on former Indian captain Virat Kohli and current Pakistani captain Babar Azam.
During this, Afridi in his bigoted style also made a big attack on the Modi government of India. He has blamed the Modi government for whatever tensions are going on between India and Pakistan. He said that India-Pakistan relations have deteriorated only after the Modi government came.
‘Virat Kohli would have replied to Babar Azam’
Afridi said on a local (Pakistani) news channel, ‘Cricket has been the only medium that has brought both the countries together. Babar Azam has given a positive message to the world. I think even Virat Kohli would have replied to Babar, because it would have been a big deal.
Actually, Babar Azam has come out in support of Virat Kohli, who is going through a bad phase. Afridi has praised Babur for this. Recently Babar shared a photo with Kohli on social media. In the photo, Kohli is seen placing his hand on his shoulder. With this post, Babar Azam wrote in the caption – This (bad phase) will also pass. Stay Strong .
This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli pic.twitter.com/ozr7BFFgXt

India-Pakistan relations were fine before Modi government
Afridi, who is trying to go into politics after cricket, has once again criticized the Narendra Modi government of India. Afridi said, ‘I think things have got worse between the two countries after the Modi government came. Whereas this was not the case before. The relations between the two countries were normal then.
Let us tell you that the last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was in 2012. Then the Pakistan team came on the tour of India. Since then no series could be held between the two teams. Both the teams have always clashed in ICC tournaments only.
