All schools closed for six days in this district of Uttarakhand, DM ordered

In view of the Kanwar fair in Uttarakhand, the government has taken a big decision. Schools will remain closed in Haridwar for six days due to Kanwar Yatra. It has been decided by the district administration that all educational institutions including schools in the district will remain closed from July 20 to 26 due to the continuation of Kanwar Yatra. Whose orders have been issued by the DM.

It is written in the order that in Shravan Kanwar Mela – 2022, the possibility of closure of traffic routes increases due to increase in traffic of Kanwariyas in the district and increase in congestion in the roadways. From 20-07-2022 to 26-07-2022, in the public interest to maintain peace and security during the peak period of Kanvad Mela, all the schools of the district, government / non-government aided / private schools / Sanskrit schools / madrasas and anganwadi centers holiday is declared in

Therefore, all the heads of institutions are ordered that from 20-07-2022 to 26-07-2022 the peak period of Shravan Kanwar Mela, all the schools (Government / non-government / private schools (Hindi / English medium), all Sanskrit schools, Madarsas, Anganwadi centers should be kept closed for teaching work, legal action should be taken against the school management / head of the institution for not complying with the order.Strictly compliance of the said order should be ensured.
