Uttar Pradesh : Ruckus outside Lucknow’s Lulu Mall, 15 people detained for Hanuman Chalisa recitation

The people of Hindu Mahasabha have once again protested outside Lulu Mall in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Police reached the spot after getting information and took all the protesters into custody. It is being told that saffron flags are in the hands of the protesters.  During this, the protesters were also raising the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

It is being told that Aditya Mishra, who describes himself as a Hindu organization, and his supporters have protested outside the mall.  It is being told that during the protest there was also a clash between the protesters and the police.  The police have detained around 15 activists.

Protesters wanted to read Hanuman Chalisa inside the mall

According to the information, the protesters had reached inside the mall to read Hanuman Chalisa. During this time they also started protesting. Seeing the police who arrived after the information, some protesters started running away. A game of hide-and-seek between the police and the protesters for a while.  After this the police caught the protesters running around the mall.

Let us tell you that even before this, people of Hindu Mahasabha had protested outside Lulu Mall.  The spokesperson of the Mahasabha, Shishir Chaturvedi, had announced the recitation of Sundarkand in the mall at 6 pm on Friday.  Although they were put under house arrest by the police, but 4 people who had come to perform religious work in the mall without permission were arrested by the police.

How did the controversy start?

On Sunday, July 10, Lulu Mall was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.  After this, on Tuesday, July 12, a video surfaced, in which some people were seen offering Namaz in the campus of Lulu Mall.  Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha had raised strong objections when this video went viral.  Hindu Mahasabha’s national spokesperson Shishir Chaturvedi had said, ‘People offered Namaz sitting on the floor in Lulu Mall, this video proved that there was a violation of government orders in Lulu Mall as the government did not offer Namaz in public places from the beginning.  Instructing to read.
