Two flights diverted in a day: Dubai-bound Air India plane landed in Muscat, IndiGo plane coming from Sharjah landing in Karachi Air India Express flight from Calicut to Dubai was made to land in Muscat. A few hours before this, the Indigo plane coming from Sharjah to Hyderabad was landed in Karachi, Pakistan.

According to the DGCA, a burning smell emanated from a vent in the forward gallery of the Air India Express aircraft, following which the plane was diverted to Muscat. At the same time, the crew on Indigo’s plane noted a technical fault and the plane was taken to Karachi. This is the second landing of an Indian airline in Karachi in the last two weeks. Earlier, due to a technical fault in the SpiceJet plane, it had to land in Karachi.

Air India Express flight number IX-355 going from Calicut to Dubai was being operated from a Boeing 737 plane. The registration number of this plane is VT-AXX. According to the information, its landing in Muscat took place on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

IndiGo’s Sharjah to Hyderabad flight number 6E-1406 was being operated by an Airbus A-320. The registration number of this plane is VT-IJK. Its landing in Karachi has been done after midnight on Saturday.

Indigo will send another plane to bring passengers
IndiGo officials told the news agency that the plane that had landed in Karachi was undergoing a technical investigation. At the same time, preparations are being made to send another aircraft to Karachi to bring the passengers. Here, no update has been issued by Air India about the plane that landed in Muscat.

IndiGo’s two emergency landings on July 14
Last Thursday (July 14), an IndiGo flight 6E-859 from Delhi to Vadodara had made an emergency landing in Jaipur. It was told that there was some technical fault in the plane, after which its emergency landing was made as a precaution. On July 14, IndiGo flight 6E-2615, going from Delhi to Manipur’s capital Imphal, had to land at Kolkata airport due to bad weather. There were 141 passengers on board the plane.

Two accidents of SpiceJet averted in one day on July 5
Last Tuesday (July 5), two accidents of SpiceJet aircraft kept happening one after the other. The first case was in the morning, when the plane going from Delhi to Dubai had to make a landing in Karachi, Pakistan due to a technical fault. It was being told that due to fuel leak, the flight had to make an emergency landing in Karachi.

The second case was of a plane going from Kandla to Mumbai, when the windshield outer pan of the SpiceJet aircraft cracked at an altitude of about 23 thousand feet in the air. After which the plane landed safely in Mumbai.

Smoke started rising from Delhi-Jabalpur flight
On July 2, SpiceJet flight number SG-2962 going from Delhi to Jabalpur was landed in Delhi. When smoke appeared in the cabin of the Delhi-Jabalpur flight, the plane was at an altitude of 5000 feet. This flight took off from Delhi airport at 6:15 am. Within minutes, smoke started filling the aircraft.

Similar incident happened in Patna also
On June 19, in Patna, sparks started coming out in the left wing of the SpiceJet aircraft during takeoff. After this, its emergency landing was made in Patna itself. In the initial investigation, a case of bird hit was revealed. There were 185 passengers on board the plane. Apart from this, due to a technical fault in the SpiceJet plane going from Delhi to Guwahati, on June 19, the landing was made in Delhi itself. There were 165 passengers on board the plane.
