Neeraj Chopra is due on August 5, but he will not be on the field as he has been advised rest. Why did Neeraj Chopra drop out of the Commonwealth Games?
Neeraj Chopra, who won the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2022, has a groin-anger. Neeraj Chopra was tested after the recently concluded World Athletics Championships, got an update on the anger and was advised to take a month’s rest. This was the reason that it became difficult for Neeraj Chopra to participate in the Commonwealth Games-2022.

On July 24, the final event of the World Athletics Championship was held in America, where Neeraj Chopra created history. Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin here 88.13 meters away and won the silver medal. This is the first time since 2003 that an Indian player has won a medal in this championship.
Neeraj Chopra was injured during this final event, when he completed his throw with a bandage. After the final event, Neeraj Chopra had said, ‘I had some problem in the groin in the fourth throw, due to which I was not able to put full effort in some of my throws. But amidst all the difficulties, the result turned out to be good.
Neeraj Chopra said after the event that the bandage was tied before the throw, now Thai is fine but will be known only after the rest of the test. Neeraj Chopra had an MRI scan only after the event, based on that Neeraj Chopra was advised rest.

Neeraj Chopra had problem in throwing
Neeraj Chopra may have created history by winning the silver medal in the World Athletics Championship, but he fouled 3 times in 6 throws in the final. His first and last two throws were fouls. Significantly, he ensured a silver medal for India by throwing 88.13 meters in the fourth throw. This pain was the reason behind Neeraj’s foul.
