A 21-year-old girl was shot dead by a youth in broad daylight in Boisar area of Palghar district of Maharashtra. At the same time, after committing the murder, the accused youth tried to shoot himself, but without being successful, he committed suicide by jumping in front of the CISF car. According to Boisar police, the incident took place in front of Tima Hospital at around 3.30 pm on Wednesday. According to a senior officer of Boisar police station, accused Srikrishna Yadav fired at Neha Mahto (26) from point blank range, due to which she died on the spot. At the same time, after firing on the girl, accused Krishna Yadav jumped in front of the CISF car. He suffered serious injuries in this. At the same time, the people present on the spot took the accused youth to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The police have sent the girl’s body to the hospital for post-mortem and have also recovered the pistol.
