Amit Shah’s third visit to Jammu and Kashmir from today after the abrogation of Article 370
The politics of the Valley may take a new turn during Navratri as Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir for the next three days from today. This is the third visit of the Union Home Minister to Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370. Amit Shah’s visit is being considered very important amid the excitement of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility that Amit Shah may meet Gujjar and Bakarwal community on the first day of his visit to Kashmir. It is believed that elections can be held in Jammu and Kashmir next year, so this visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah is being linked to the elections.
Will reach Jammu and Kashmir at 5 pm
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Jammu and Kashmir today. Amit Shah will meet delegation of Gujjars, Bakarwals and Yuva Rajput Sabha in Jammu at around 5 pm. Apart from this, Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Rajouri on the morning of October 4 after offering prayers at Mata Vaishno Devi temple located on Trikuta hills of Reasi district. During this, many development projects for Jammu and Kashmir will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid.
Security review of Jammu and Kashmir
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar on October 5 and review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, senior officers of the army, paramilitary forces, state police and civil administration will also participate in the meeting. Shah will also address a public meeting in Baramulla before inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for various development projects in Srinagar.
