PM Modi expressed grief over the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Yogi announced three days of state mourning in UP, funeral will be held with state honors

Samajwadi Party patriarch and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away today at Medanta Hospital. He was undergoing treatment for a long time. A wave of mourning has spread across the country on his death. After PM Modi on his death, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also expressed grief and announced three days of mourning in the state.

State mourning declared for three days on the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav

On the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath also expressed grief through tweet and wrote that – The death of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav ji is very sad. The era has ended. I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and express my condolences to the bereaved family and supporters.

Apart from this, while announcing the state mourning, Yogi Adityanath said that on the death of Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav ji, the Uttar Pradesh government announces three days of state mourning. His last rites will be performed with full state honours. CM Akhilesh Yadav also spoke on the phone and while giving information about this, tweeted that ‘In this hour of mourning, he expressed his condolences by talking to his son Shri Akhilesh Yadav ji over the phone.’

Mulayam was hospitalized for a week

Let us tell you that 84-year-old Mulayam Singh Yadav, who is currently playing the role of the founder of the Samajwadi Party and currently a mentor, was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for about a week. According to the health bulletin issued by the hospital, he had difficulty in breathing. Apart from this, problems were also reported in his kidney. His health bulletin was issued daily by the hospital management. The doctors told that he was on life saving drugs for a few days.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for three times
